Renovation Study for an Apartment for Tourist Exploitation “AIRBNB”

Airbnb-type apartments are a reality in the tourism market, boasting a vast clientele from around the world. Recognizing the significance of this extensive audience, MORPHÓ has established a specialized division focused exclusively on designing apartments and residences for Airbnb usage, with the ultimate goal of creating comfortable, functional, and durable spaces that ensure the long-term value of the investment for their owners.

This project pertains to an apartment located in the heart of Athens, showcasing distinctive decorative elements from the 1960s and 1970s. In the Interior Design study, we aim to highlight these elements in the new design through vibrant colors, patterns, and simple geometric forms characteristic of a contemporary retro style.

At the layout level, we proposed redesigning the interior spaces by merging the kitchen and living area to create a more spacious appearance while allowing natural light to flow unobstructed into the depths of the apartment. Despite this unification, we recommend the installation of an operable metal structure that can, when necessary, separate the two areas, offering flexibility in the rental arrangement of the apartment and thereby increasing the potential types of tenants.
