What is 3D Laser Scanning?
Three-dimensional (3D) laser scanning is revolutionizing how we capture and analyze complex environments, particularly in situations where traditional methods fall short.
Imagine a dilapidated building on the edge of a cliff or dense forests concealing vital infrastructure. These scenarios present not only technical challenges but also safety risks.

MORPHÓ, an architectural and construction company, was founded in 2014, with its primary focus on the design and construction of tourist accommodations such as hotels, rental rooms, furnished apartments, and complexes of independent residences.
The year 2018 marked a pivotal moment for us as we strengthened our team to meet the needs of projects we undertook in the Cyclades, and we opened our office in Mesaria, Santorini. In 2020, we launched our third office, this time on Paros.

Topographic Diagram Drafting
According to current legislation, a topographic diagram of the property concerned must be attached to notarial deeds. The topographic diagram must be aligned with the state coordinate system (EGSA ’87).
It includes the boundaries of the property, the buildings within it, the characteristics of the land plot, as well as a variety of additional details relevant to the property and the notarial act.
Additionally, a topographic diagram can be used for:
- Verifying the allowable and realized urban development parameters of the property.
- Submission to public authorities as an attachment to an official inquiry, if necessary.
- Drafting of sales contracts.
- Correcting data submitted to the land registry.
The diagram is produced by experienced MORPHÓ engineers using modern Leica surveying equipment. Specifically, alignment with the state coordinate system is performed using Leica Geosystems AG equipment, adhering to strict standards for durability, reliability, and measurement accuracy.
Beyond drafting topographic diagrams, MORPHÓ also has significant experience in surveying tasks during the execution of its construction projects.
